[ESS] 日英翻訳者（契約社員）

職務内容／Job duties ■募集背景 欠員補充。大手日系企業及び外資系をクライアントとした国内・国際経理・会計・税務・人事等にかかる英訳業務（翻訳に限らず、タスク進捗管理、課題管理、品質管理プロセス改革等）をプロフェッショナル翻訳者として、複数で同時進行の翻訳プロジェクトを担っていただきます。弊社の国内外の専門家と連携しながら業務を推進します。そうした環境の中で、インタナショナルチームで業務遂行する経験や翻訳にかかわる専門的な業務に関わる機会を提供します。 ■組織の雰囲気 15名ほどの組織の中の、英訳を専門とするワークストリーム（6名構成）に入って頂きます。平均年齢は約35歳。一般企業では稀なレベルの高品質な翻訳を基準としており、翻訳者を育成する環境も充実しておりますので、高レベルの言語スキルを有し（※特に日英両方が母国語のバランス型バイリンガルの方　大歓迎）、適切な翻訳について常々考え、他者とそれに向けたディスカッションに積極的に参加してくださる翻訳者を探しています。クリエイティブかつプロダクティブなチームで、特に入所してから1年間ほどの間は翻訳者のステレオタイプである、黙々と作業をする一匹狼とはほど遠い活気のある業務を楽しめながら、上達できる環境を提供しております。 ■仕事内容 主に経理・会計・税務・人事領域に関連する社内外の英訳プロジェクト 英訳プロジェクトの支援・企画・推進・管理・改革 ※但し、経験・スキルに応じて担当して頂く役割を決定します。 Translation (generally Japanese to English) -Produce accurate, idiomatic translations across a range of familiar fields and contexts while meeting reasonable productivity targets -Communicate with colleagues and experts, as well as perform research using publicly available information and other resources, to produce accurate translations even in new or unfamiliar disciplines -Translate tax, consulting and accounting-related proposals, presentations, memos, position papers and other deliverables -Translate internal communications (e.g. announcements, policies, information session materials, training materials) -Translate external communications (e.g. articles, marketing materials, media interviews, etc.) Translation quality assurance -Self-editing and revision -Review of colleagues’ translations to ensure accuracy and consistency -Occasional review of English materials drafted by company professionals Terminology and database management -Regular use and update of translation assistance tools -Testing of new tools and use cases Coordination -Scheduling and progress tracking, including negotiating deadlines/scopes of work with internal stakeholders -Occasional outsourcing of translations to third-party vendors -Provide feedback on translation quality to third-party vendors   応募資格／Qualifications 【必須条件】 ・翻訳会社や事業会社の社内翻訳者として1年半以上の英訳経験 （※翻訳チームの一員として、自ら作成した訳文が他の翻訳者によってレビューされる環境にて）、或いはそれに相当する経験 ・クライアントやプロジェクトメンバーとのコミュニケーション力 ・ロジカルな思考力、分析力 ・日本語：ビジネスレベル ・英語：ビジネスレベル (英語を用いたビジネス上のコミュニケーションのご経験) ・基本的なPCスキル、ビジネスマナー（Microsoft Excel・Word・PowerPointの使用経験） ・社内外の複数の関係者との円滑なコミュニケーションが取れる方 ・仮説構築力、抽象化思考力に長けた方 -Educated native or near-native speaker of English with strong writing skills -ACTFL-defined Superior or Distinguished proficiency in Japanese -Minimum of 1.5 years of supervised experience as a full-time in-house translator or the equivalent -Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite -Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality 【必須ではないが、あれば尚可の条件】 ・コンサルティング、Big4, BigLaw出身者歓迎 ・Trados, memoQ等のCAT使用経験 ・経理・財務・税務・人事の業務知識があれば尚可 ・英語：TOEIC 900以上のレベル; 海外留学、海外勤務経験があれば尚可 ・ロジカルな思考力、分析力 ・幅広い分野での翻訳経験のある方 ・プロ意識をもって柔軟に対応できる方 -Completion of advanced-level formal training in translation, or NAATI or ATA certification -Translation project management experience -Experience with SDL Trados or other CAT tools -Editing experience -Experience working at a tax, accounting, financial, consulting or legal firm (esp.
